A note from Simon: This is a plain-English summary of how I handle your information. Please review and adapt it — including any specifics required by the ICO and FCA — before it goes live. It is a starting point, not final approved legal wording.

Who we are

Hill Grafford ("we", "us") is the independent financial advice practice of Simon Every, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA Register Number 418807). For the purposes of data protection law, Hill Grafford is the data controller for the personal information it holds about you.

You can contact us at 2 Middle Farm Cottage, Main Street, Southorpe, PE9 3BX, by phone on 01733 913587, or by email at simon@hillgrafford.co.uk.

The information we collect

Depending on our relationship with you, we may collect and hold:

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to provide financial advice and related services, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to keep our records accurate. We rely on one or more lawful bases for this, including your consent, the performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in running the practice.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your information. We only share it where necessary to provide our services or meet our obligations — for example, with product and platform providers when arranging what you have agreed to, or with regulators and other authorities where the law requires. Any parties we work with are expected to protect your information appropriately.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we advise you, and afterwards for the periods required by FCA rules and other legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it securely.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have inaccurate information corrected, and — in certain circumstances — to have it deleted or its use restricted. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details above.

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, you can raise it with us first, and you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes in future — for example if analytics are added — this notice will be updated to explain what is used and how you can control it.
